Hydro Jetting in Roy
Roy housing is dominated by the post-war boom that came with Hill Air Force Base and the Ogden Arsenal, which usually means cast iron and clay, laid in a short window when the town grew quickly. The age of a property is the best single predictor of what its drain lines are made of, and that decides what a hydro jetting is likely to show.
Roy grew fast in a narrow period, which means whole streets share the same pipe vintage. When one house on a block starts having main line trouble, its neighbours are often a season or two behind it.
What we look for in Roy lines
Grease and scale respond to jetting very differently. Grease comes off. Scale that has bonded to corroded iron often does not, and needs a cutting head instead. Establishing which one is coating the pipe is what stops you paying for the wrong process.

Access in Roy
On the oldest properties the access point is sometimes not where anyone expects, and occasionally it has been built over. Knowing that before the visit saves time we would otherwise spend finding it.
Roy is inside our regular Weber County service area, so travel is not the constraint. Access at the property usually is.
Before we recommend anything
It suits grease, sludge and soft build-up. It is not appropriate for a pipe that is already cracked, which is the reason we look before we jet.
If the line turns out to be sound, that is what we will tell you. A recurring blockage on its own is not evidence that a sewer needs replacing.
